Sustainable rural development is a priority for SAGARPA. Therefore, through support for the promotion of productive capacities, strengthening of organization and training on the responsible use of natural resources, the aim is to ensure that more families in high and very high marginalization have access to food.
The Rural Development pavilion at Mexico Food 2017 Food Show, aims to show the actions undertaken to achieve a food security status in which more families have enough food on the table to ensure optimal development of their families.
Innovative initiatives such as the implementation of home gardens, the training of rural youth, extension and insurance programs, are intended to detonate the productivity of small and small producers throughout the country.
As you walk through the pavilion, visitors will discover innovative ideas to support small-scale production, self-production and much more.
The tasting of artisanal products and the coexistence with small producers will be part of the experience.
